10) Ra.One

This Sci-Fi Superhero flick also the most Expensive Bollywood movie up till now is a Must Watch because of the mesmerizing Shahrukh Khan, the amazing visual effects and the international feel giving extra-ordinary soundtrack. The story revolves around virtual video game becoming larger than life as its villain G.One comes to life to kill Lucifer named game player, to which Ra.One the hero comes to his rescue. 9) The Dirty Picture

Path breaking and Trend setting entertainment is what I would call The Dirty Picture. Watch this movie to know why people are going gaga over Vidya Balan for the fantastic actor that she is. Playing a south Indian siren, she enticed the audience with her acting prowess and oomph. Rajat Arora's witty dialogues added spice to the proceedings. Vidya Balan plays the heroine Silk who bears only a chronological resemblance to 80s icon Silk Smitha, is a highly empowered woman who is tremendously aware of the power her orbs wield. 8) Pyaar Ka Punchnama

'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' is the surprise realistic word-of-mouth hit of 2011. The movie is based on the real life like relationship pangs of three young modern men. 7) Singham

Director Rohit Shetty’s first venture out of the Golmaal franchise, hasn’t failed to impress anyone and Rohit has retained his 100% success rate as a Director. With strong performances by Ajay Devgn and Prakash Raj, the movie has wonderful dialogues and superb action is what makes Singham a tremendous hit. 6) Delhi Belly

'Delhi Belly', from the house of Aamir Khan Productions, takes pride in being zany and irreverent. A side-splitting path breaking New Age Bollywood comedy, with a sensible storyline, the movie features trend-setting music by Ram Sampath and a career-defining performance by Imran Khan. It's fun and funny, modest and yet quite nutty. The film features three strugglers with too little money and too much bad luck. 5) Aarakshan

This Multi-starrer Socio-Political drama based on the controversial policy of caste based reservation in educational institutes and government jobs is another thought-provoking movie by Prakash Jha. It also discusses the sensitive topic of commercialisation of education in India. Powerful performances by Amitabh Bachchan and Manoj Bajpayee stood out among the ensemble cast. 4) No One Killed Jessica

'No One Killed Jessica' is a real life inspired story based on the spine-less murder of model Jessica Lall in a crowded party by the son of an influential politician and her sister Sabrina Lal's fight for justice. The plot of the movie although well-known to everyone but that shouldn't deter from lapping up this engaging 'fight against the system' drama. 3) Stanley Ka Dabba

The surprise package on my list is this heart-warming amazing movie of innocence. Relive your school days with 'Stanley Ka Dabba'. Director Amol Gupte captures the nuances of school life and elicits brilliant performances from his cast, especially the kids. 'Stanley Ka Dabba' is a Must Watch for the honesty with which the film is made. It has an inherent sweetness and honesty that will stay with you long after the film is over. The film takes you to the world of kids, the challenges faced by them every single day, both at home and at school. 2)Rockstar

Ranbir Kapoor has justified his stardom and that he is more than his surname, with his marvellous depiction of Janardhan aka JJ aka Jordan The Rockstar, who is a wanna-be Jim Morrison. A yet another off-beat love story by the talented director Imtiaz Ali is a rags-to-riches story of a naive Janardhan who aspires to be a Rockstar. His yearning for heartbreak gets him close to Heer (Nargis Fakhri), as they bond over soft-porn cinema and country liquor. Soon after, the girl is married off to some NRI, the boy is thrown out of his house, he seeks solace in a dargah and next you know he's a singing sensation rechristened as Jordan. Rockstar is essentially a love story between two very curious individuals with an in suppressible connection. 1) Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

The Numero Uno spot on my list goes to Zoya Akhtar’s 2nd movie as a Director, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ has achieved great critical as well as commercial success. It is being called the feel-good movie of 2011. A picturesque tribute to life, friendship and love. ‘ZNMD’ has found favour among the youth. A good-looking and well performing star cast, a breezy script and some powerful dialogues add to its allure. Ready

Banking on the superb success of Wanted and Dabangg, here is another treat for the Superstar Salman Khan’s loyal fan following, Ready. Although not achieving great critical acclaim the movie is amongst the highest grossers of 2011 with total gross amount of 122 crore, has been declared an all time Blockbuster. Bodyguard

Yet Another Salman Dabangg Khan Blockbuster of 2011 with total gross equal to 148 crores. It is Director Siddique’s 2nd remake in a year after making the movie in Malayalam and then in Tamil. The film is termed boring, and a no-brain predictable romantic comedy contrary to this it boasts of its successful and addictive music songs.
